At Friends of the Blue Star Trail, our mission is to enhance and sustain the Blue Star Trail for the benefit of all. We believe that achieving this goal requires a deep commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA). As a mostly volunteer organization made up of dedicated local residents, we recognize that our strength lies in our diverse perspectives and experiences.

This includes addressing physical accessibility challenges as well as ensuring that information and opportunities related to the Trail are available to everyone. We are dedicated to creating equitable opportunities for all individuals to participate in and benefit from our work. This means actively identifying and addressing barriers that may prevent some community members from using the Trail. We strive to ensure that our resources and efforts are distributed in a manner that supports fairness and justice for all.

We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and respected. Our goal is to build a community around the Blue Star Trail that welcomes and supports individuals from all backgrounds.
